Acupuncturist and Herbalist

I am a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Illinois and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. My treatment strategies center on the belief that the body has an innate ability to heal. Through nutritional guidance, acupuncture, herbal medicine and various other life style modifications, I work with patients to achieve well-being. Each person’s journey is unique. I am deeply passionate about helping others achieve their optimal health. My top priority is to work collaboratively with patients to find a path of healing that works best for them.

My practice involves treatment for a wide range of health conditions including, but not limited to:

  • stress
  • headaches
  • allergies
  • pain management (neck, shoulder, back, knee, etc.)
  • digestive disorders
  • skin conditions
  • orthopedic injuries
  • women’s health
  • fertility
  • fatigue
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • autoimmune conditions
  • insomnia

I graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. I have interned extensively with David Vavrinchik of the Northshore University HealthSystem’s Integrative Medicine Program, where I developed a specialization in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. I continue to deepen my studies of Canonical Chinese Herbal Medicine with my mentor Stephen Bonzak, director of the Chicago Institute of Classics of East Asian Medicine, a distinguished international herbal training program.

Born and raised in Chicago, I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
